1. Indoor Flowers: These are top shelf flowers grown in totally controlled environments. Master growers produce the Cannabis Cup winners here. These systems produce superb quality flowers. Good hash comes from these flowers.
2. ‘Indoor’ Greenhouse: These systems can produce very good flowers using sophisticated greenhouses and extra lighting when the sun is low. The environments are controlled and skilled growers oversee these systems but top shelf flower won’t be produced here. Production costs are understandably lower and the price should reflect this.
3. Greenhouse Flower: These systems can produce nice quality flowers. There is no supplemental lighting which means – no sun no plant. These systems produce lesser quality flowers that are slightly stretched with a thick central stalk in the flower. It would be expected that a vendor would sell these at a lesser price, however they are often sold as premium flower.
4. Outdoor Flower: Plants grown outdoor in fields full of sweet mothernature herself. By comparison to the above mentioned flowers – quality is noticeably less. It’s expected that vendors will mention this to potential customers. Poor quality CBD hash may come from these flowers.
This is just a quick sketch of how flowers are produced. It’s always possible that a glasshouse system produces amazing flowers and an indoor system doesn’t. The guide above is intended to be a rough outline only.
