CBD for Pain Relief — Explained / Liam

Cannabidiol otherwise known as cbd is one of the main cannabinoids found in cannabis. Alone, CBD does not have any psychoactive qualities but has a whole load of medicinal properties. CBD works wonders for the body and mind and can be found in numerous different forms: body balms, oils and various hemp flower. CBD is currently legal in many countries including the United Kingdom and many other parts of the world if the THC percentage is below a certain amount depending on the country.

How does it provide pain relief?

CBD dominant products such as balms and oils have been known to greatly relieve everyday aches and pains and certain painful symptoms from diseases such as multiple sclerosis and arthritis. CBD balm is absorbed through the skin without entering the blood stream. In fact, it interacts with the vast amount of cannabinoid receptors in the skin which then causes tense muscles to relax, soothing most aches and pains. CBD oil on the other hand, is usually taken under the tongue and absorbed through your saliva glands. This in turn may help reduce pain by impacting endocannabinoid receptor activity and interacting with neurotransmitters. In my opinion these are the two best ways to relieve aches and pains.

Where can I find these products?

These products are available in many shops and boutiques. Balms have worked wonders for my ongoing back problems, relieving me in a matter of minutes. I have also been told by friends that this balm works extremely well for relieving menstrual pain, so is definitely a recommended go to product for all my female readers! I had given this to an elderly family member in the hopes of giving them some relief from their arthritis and it did just that. This is truly an amazing balm and I’m constantly hearing positive feedback.
